The joints are stapled together and the item arrived heavily damaged. If the item were built better and packaged correctly it likely would have survived the trip.

Delivered already built. Very sturdy - we leverage the bench by our front door. We have a small entry way and this is perfect for quickly putting on shoes before heading out.

Very nice bench but it is not made for a larger person. Bought this one for my son, unfortunately, it is too low for his aching knees and too narrow for his rear end. He is going to modify the height and add just a little front to back depth to accommodate him. Bit of work needed in this case but otherwise a nice piece.

This bench is beautiful, a perfect, nicely low height, used in the master bathroom. Arrived in great condition fully assembled. Would have been better if it had a lower shelf for towels, etc. but still love it. Color true to product picture.
