Love these chairs!!! Was actually shocked when they arrived and how nice they were for the price. Fabric definitely has brown tones but works great in my space. Highly recommend!

This chair is *solid*. I am returning it, because it is bigger than I thought and doesn't fit in my space.

Thinking of returning the pair of chairs. I am a furniture maker, and noticed that the wood framework is mixed wood toned with a tinted lacquer, not ash as advertised. The wood grain and appearance are very different than the website photos. Be careful reading the description. The lower cushion is intregal to the chair and not removable. Ability to turn the seat cushion over extends the life of the cushion. Having a seat cushion that is upholstered only on one side is indicative of cheap manufacturing. As some have noted, it is very firm. They are not small chairs, so keep that in mind when purchasing. Delivery was prompt, and no assembly necessary on this item.
