Love this chair! The seat is firm but not so much to make it uncomfortable. I purchased the grey, it’s a lovely subtle grey almost blue hue to it ( probably bc it’s with navy, grey, and beige colors). The packaging was phenomenal! So this pictures of the scratched and dented wood make no senses to me as they are covered in plastic and then the corners are reinforced with foam and a corner of a hard cardboard mold. In addition the legs come wrapped in bubble wrap as to not touch each other. The legs were extremely easy to install and screw in by hand at first then use the hex tool provided. I am so happy with my purchase, I hope they hold up a good 5 years!
