This bed is solid and easy to put together. Although I needed help with the very heavy boxes, I put the bed together by myself (46-year-old F). I have an adjustable base, so I can’t speak to the slats. Only one criticism the fabric on the headboard is wrinkling some, but it doesn’t bother me.
