UPDATE: 6 weeks in, the headboard started to come apart at the curve. The manufacturer offered to replace the headboard. Then when silent. Wayfair was great, stepping in. One month later, the manufacturer then sent an entirely new bed. In anticipation, we dontaed the current bed. When the new bed arrived, the box containing the headboard & footboard was destroyed, and ironically there's damage to the headboard. $2200 is too much to pay for anything less than perfect. To get a refund, we need to repackage the bed for return. The box is destroyed. We can't buy a new box, it's massive. Plus, we should not be required to jump through the hoops of repacking 150 lbs of wood. We'll see what Wayfair does to end this issue. It's a gorgeous bed, and I'm unhappy about having to find another. So, here we are, 3 months later, sleeping on our mattress on the floor, out $2200. ##### Outstanding! Very heavy, seemingly well-made and high quality. The slats are secured to one another so they don’t move. Assembly is definitely a two person job. Unpackaging is the most difficult part, as the boxes are huge and very heavy.

I love the design and sturdiness of the bed. I have yet to lay in it so time will tell. There is a piece that is broken but it’s only cosmetic. I was not going to go through the stress of returning for that plus its only noticable if

Solid, heirloom quality

This bed came in damaged but once the replacement was issued it was a great look and bed!

Beautiful, elegant and well made bed. It is real wood and heavy.!!
