Just what I was looking for! I did not want one of the plastic or tempered glass ones and this one is just exactly what I needed for my low pile carpet floor. It's not too flashy like some others, very happy with this purchase

Sturdy even on medium plush carpet. Definitely fits my needs well!

The product is good except that the "carpet" fabric is separated on the edges at the fold. I am hoping the painters tape will protect it but that remains to be seen. Of course the bright blue tape looks bad.

Heavy, but definitely does the job of providing a nice, smooth surface that doesn't wrinkle or roll. Only wish they came in more sizes so that I could put one under my whole desk.
