I first looked at clear plastic floor mats, but then I saw this floormat. It was much more elegant. I laid it on a wood floor, and there is no slippage. My chair has rollers, so it glides on the carpet. My desk is dark brown and the surrounding cabinets are black, so it looks great.

This is a beautiful and functional alternative to the ugly plastic chair mats. Would have given 5 stars except the seam in the middle constantly pops and flexes, not sure how long it will hold with this much movement (it is on low pile carpet). That said, would buy again and very happy I chose this for my office. Guests are always amazed at how well my chair rolls in it.

Installed on medium pile bedroomoffice carpet. Looks great! Has worked well so far but there is a small amount of flex to it, which makes me wonder about long term durability.
