I can't believe I didn't find this sooner. Stop trying to mess around with the hard to flatten plastic mats... this is EXACTLY what I needed for my office/under my desk. I didn't want the chair messing up the carpeting. This mat looks like a carpet but it is smooth and the chair rolls effortlessly on top of it. You unfold it from the packaging and you are good to go!

So nice! Works great on my Berber carpet. Quieter than the icky hard plastic mat.

I am very satisfied with this chair mat. I have been using it for about a year and a half and it is holding up well. My cat tried to scratch it a couple times when I first brought it home, but did not succeed in damaging it. If your cat is more persistent, it will likely get scratched up. The color is a very nice, true blue, with almost zero green tones to it. The darker yellow is somewhere between a butter yellow and a muted goldenrod, and the lighter color is a cream/ yellow beige. I purchased the largest size and I would not have been happy with the smaller size. I also purchased the thinner padding and it works well over my plush carpet. It arrives folded in half and is very stiff, almost like a thin board. If you are a perfectionist or your floors are uneven, you may be bothered by the seam where the fold was. On my floor, it is almost invisible when unfolded.

Doesn't bunch up like plastic chair mats and adds more interest to a room as well. My chair rolls easily on it and it works fine over low pile carpet.

Had a pulled thread and wayfair quickly replaced.

Way nicer than a plastic chair mat

This is truly the most spectacular mix of fun and functional. My office chair glides perfectly on this mat, and it "pulls the room together" fantastically!
