I cant say this bed isnt pretty. I do like it. However, what appears to be wrought iron is actually painted plastic composite material. Also the framing around the headboard is also plastic like. I posted a picture of.the corner that has a chip and it feels and looks like plastic. The center of the headboard, the footboard, and side rails do appear to be wood. I called customer service and they were extremely helpful.

We just received our new queen bed set.. there were really big problems with it. Our queen size box spring was only able to fit on one side(the foot of the bed). There was damage on the foot board(cracked wood), the support beams that hold up the mattress were not able to be correctly installed because there are holes on only one side of the bed.. very disappointed with this product.. we plan on calling in the morning to see what solution can be provided. This is the first time we ordered and it’ll be our last time..

It’s a nice set, just wished the brass looking design was a little nicer and less fake looking.
