Overall it’s beautiful, function, and seems to be of good material. While assembling there were no screws holes for the seat part of the chair so I had to do my best to line it up properly.
Biggest con with this is the table leafs like to fall down. There is a little wood piece you pull and basically wedge to keep the leaf up in place but it’s ALWAYS sliding back in and making the leaf loose. It’s extremely irritating and I feel the only fix wold be to put a permanent screw holding it together but the table is so nice I really don’t wanna ruin it. I was looking for a table so specific to this one so I would order this again, but the mechanism holding the leaf is so cheap that if I wasn’t looking for a table specific I would get a different one. If the leaf mechanism was updated, this would be perfect
Update: after 10 months, the table top has actually become loose from the base. We have one leaf down so it sits flush against a wall and the table keeps spinning and ramming the sides into the wall. The screw that holds the top on seems to be stripped but it haven’t even tried taking the top off to verify what’s going on because I’m nervous I won’t even get it to stay back on..
I contacted Wayfair and they we’re so quick to help me with sending a replacement!! Great customer service!!
