Table basse avec rangement Modale

The Modale Coffee Table with Storage by August Grove is a very sturdy table which came packed well for shipping. There are some manufacturer defects (see pictures). At the time of ordering there was a discrepancy in the item description regarding size which has since been updated. The measurements listed in pictures are accurate.

This Is a nice size Coffee table, it has a nice weight to it, and why as you can see in my photo’s I have the furniture movers under each side of the table until I find the perfect spot for it, until then the furniture movers make it feel like it weighs under a pound. There are 2 LARGE spots for storage under the top, You could use the bottom storage area for Blankets, n pillows, and the middle shelf for placemats, and books, magazines, coasters, etc. and still have the top clear for some stylish decor. But you basically have four nice storage area’s under the table, two on each side and two levels. The only issue I had with this is the assembly instructions, They are Wrong so be aware of it. They have the top marked on the bottom, you should be able to see this when reading the instruction and looking at the pieces, the Holes to mount the metal railing to hold the middle shelf and this will tell you the instructions are backwards due to the pre drilled holes, also the instructions say you need your own screw driver, power Drill, and There is no need for a power drill, you do not need to drill any holes, all the holes you will need are pre drilled for you. The wood of the coffee table is a bit confusing, it looks to be a shiny polished finished, but then when feeling and touching it , it seems to be partly unfinished, and when reading the care for it, it basically said dust it and if need to wash it use damp warm cloth and some dish soap, I was raised by 3 to go with paper towels and the pledge and sent to the living room to polish the wood furniture every Saturday. So I find it odd to just dust with a dry cloth, but ok, Please see pictures, I tried to take them from all angles. Thank You

This coffee table is very nice and built really well with solid wood and metal. The table arrived in good condition and was easy to put together. I like the storage underneath which makes it practical as well as nice looking.

I love this coffee table. It is quite sturdy and looks expensive. It was hard for me to find a table like this with there levels of shelving in this wood color. It took me maybe 45 minutes to an hour to assemble. It came it a real beat up box, like absolutely torn to shreds box with the styrofoam exposed with missing chunks, but it somehow did not sustain any damage!
