Tabouret de comptoir pivotant 24 po Decosmo

I've assembled 1 chair so far (out of 4), and it seems to be very sturdy and well-made. I plan on staining it to match our kitchen cabinets. I agree with other reviews that the photos make the stool look white, but it is really just an unfinished wood color. The flat seat part of the chair screws into the swivel seat portion, and while there are pocket holes drilled into the swivel part, you have to make your own hole on the seat part. My husband said the screws given were not appropriate (they would split the wood) and we had to use our own wood screws. Pre-drilled pilot holes would have been appreciated - all other holes are predrilled.
