Bad luck with this selection. The package came with only 4 Dow rods when you need 8 and the instructions are really difficult to understand including faded graphics that are hard to read. Rated two stars because the quality of the wood and seat seem really good.

I relied on other reviews and had a clear understanding of what to expect. This is an ACCENT chair, and nothing else. It’s quite short, but it is beautifully crafted. The leather could have been finished a bit more neatly, but overall, it’s a lovely decorative piece. I considered deducting a star due to the poorly printed assembly instructions—the paper was faded, which led me to reassemble a few parts. However, the chair was still very easy to put together, so I decided not to let that affect the rating.

Well, I have quite a few things I can share about this Analese 24” Wide Solid Wood Rattan Genuine Leather Side Chair. To start off with this is a very unique chair. The style is cool but not as practical as I thought it would be. The leather pad on the chair is soft but not real thick, and the rattan on the back is kind of scratchy on your back. It’s very stylish looking but not very practical unless you are young. It sits so low to the floor (14.6”) it is hard to get into, and even harder to get out of. If you have a college student this might be a good choice but not for me as a 69-year-old. As far as assembly goes it doesn’t take too long to assemble but many of the pre-drilled holes aren’t drilled all the way through. So, when you put the bolt in the holes, some of the wood chips away and splinters off. That ruins the finish of the wood there. I like that the wood is solid ash and is made well. It is stained black so you can see the wood grain. It is a beautiful luxurious looking chair. It has such interesting lines. It is simplistic, yet classy. The backrest is made of hand-woven rattan. It looks so cool, but it isn’t very comfortable. For one, the backrest is very short and only comes about halfway up your back. The rattan is kind of scratchy and not very comfortable. The weight capacity is 300 lbs. So, would I get this again? Probably not. It looks interesting but isn’t very practical.
