I had been searching for light cane backed cantilever chairs with a black seat at an affordable price for so long. These would have been decent if the seat cushions were actually black like in the product photos. They’re mediumcharcoal grey. I’m pretty disappointed by the color.
The wood framing is just okay, I had to sand them down myself because they were rough and felt unfinished, and there were splinters of wood everywhere. There’s messy wood glue all over my chairs as well.
The base of the leg doesn’t screw or click together, so you have to be mindful of that every time you pull the chairs out, especially if you have a rug under, otherwise the base leg can come apart.
I don’t love my purchase, but for the price it wasn’t worth the hassle of returning them.
I contacted Wayfair to tell them about my defective chairs and seek some form of a resolution, but they ghosted me. I’ve been ordering from Wayfair for around 10 years and haven’t ever had much of an issue with their products or customer service apart from these chairs.
