I strongly advise against making purchases through Wayfair based on my recent experience. I received a damaged item and was issued a replacement, which was ultimately cancelled by the supplier. Following this cancellation, I was informed I would receive a refund. However, over a month has passed and no refund has been received. After multiple attempts to resolve the issue with customer service—many of which ended with my chats being abruptly closed—I was finally told I now need to return the original damaged item to receive a refund. At no point was this requirement communicated in prior interactions, nor was a return label ever provided. It is unreasonable to expect a customer to retain a damaged item for over a month with no clear instructions. Now, because of Wayfair’s delays and inconsistent communication, I am being denied both a refund and a return, leaving me at a complete loss. Despite providing email documentation showing their error, I have not even been offered store credit. This experience has been extremely disappointing and I hope others will consider this before making a purchase through Wayfair.
