This unit was the perfect dimension for our bedroom renovation. Since there was no existing closet in the room, ample storage space was on the top of our list. We read the reviews, and unfortunately ignored a few of them... As avid do it yourself homeowners, here's our experience: Plus side- 1) The cabinet looks really great and is exactly as it's shown on the website. 2) It provides loads of useful storage space. Down side- 1) It's basically a really expensive piece of cardboard. There is no solid wood involved, it's all press board. If you make a mistake during assembly and need to dismantle pieces, proceed with great caution to avoid errors, as this material will crumble. 2) Based on prior reviews, we debated paying extra for assembly...but did not, and after about 15 hours of shouting expletives, regret that. 3) When we first read through the instructions, they seemed to be complete and easy to follow. They are NOT! Some of the diagrams are REALLY MISLEADING, especially the drawer braces, and we found ourselves having to disassemble when we though we were nearly done. Even then, we also had to be wild contortionists to then re-do the still incorrect drawer supports once the unit was in place and ready to attach to the wall... 4) We are super glad that we purchased the extended warranty on this unit because we doubt it will hold up well with daily use. We tried to take extra precautions and used wood filler/caulk to seal the exposed particle board drawer backs since we already noticed some flakes of particle board crumbling. 5) The handles were nothing more than cheap wood pulls, so we replaced them. All in all, the unit looks great, has super storage, which is why we gave it 3 stars. Since we had to finance the purchase, we're hoping it lasts long enough to pay it off...

Love the space and look! Drawers are quite small.

This is a great armoire! This is something that can be put in with the entire unit intact or split into two individual units. The only caution that I have on this is that it takes a fair amount of time to put together as there are a lot of parts. This requires at least 10 hours or more in order to assemble depending on how many people are doing it.

I built this all by myself because the assembly I paid for never was fulfilled. It took me approximately 14 hours. Now that it’s up and my mom is using it, I love it. During those 14 hours I definitely did not.

This was a MONSTER to put together. I ended up asking a family friend to do it and I'm so happy I did. We couldn't finish it all in one session but I already love the color and the style. It goes perfect with the rest of my decor. I will note that the instructions aren't super clear to follow and it's easy to mess up the assembly so I'd suggest getting someone to put it together if you're not used to doing this!
