Table de bout Arnett

I was looking for two rattan end tables for a sunroom, and I didn’t want a round shape or too much wicker. These were the right color and a great price. No reviews were posted (!), there wasn’t much description, and the photos didn’t show more than one angle or anything in context with other furniture. Still, I bought them. What I didn’t know is that those two light patches on either side of the dark center top of the table under the glass are designed to look beachysandy, but my first thought out of the box was “birdseed.” It looks like a lot of birdseed. We are keeping them. Might try spray painting those parts of the table dark brown though. I think I will always think “birdseed” when I look at those tables. The tables were delivered quickly and they do look nice for the price. But now you know that the photo on the lighter background isn’t showing empty spaces, and the photo on the darker background shows you how light the “sand” or “birdseed” actually is.
