This Alenda Dining Chair set is an attractive and functional seating option for anyone's home. The chairs are attractive with the Ratan and rubber wood nicely pairing. When sitting in the chairs, they are comfortable and rather stable. Assembly was relatively straightforward and both chairs were put together in less than 15 minutes. Because of the way the chair is constructed some of the bolts may be difficult to access to secure the chair in the future, it should not be much of an issue but it would have been nice to have better access to tightening the chair over time with bolts that will certainly loosen somewhat. Overall, a solid pair of chairs that hopefully will serve us for years to come

They are certainly cheap for a reason. All drill holes were filled with staples and splinters that I had to pry back with a knife in order for the screw to fit. The Allen key provided barely does the job in either orientation (it keeps running into other parts of the furniture no matter which way you orientate. I’m pretty decent at putting furniture together but one of the chairs was wobbly. The purchase doesn’t come with paper instructions, luckily I noticed a link to digital instructions on the order page. Finally you will need a Philips head screw driver, preferably a drill because one of the steps requires you to drill a hole that does not exist. We had a drill so it was fine. Like I said - you get what you pay for.

Great chairs - exactly what we wanted and really reasonable price per chair. One did arrive with a slight cracked back, but they are sending a replacement part, so hopefully will look perfect when we replace that bit.

I love these chairs! I always worry that caning won’t be durable or sturdy but the seats of these have mesh under the canning to keep them strong! The only down side for me was, they are challenging to get the screws in tight enough underneath, and that makes me worry about how long they will last. Also, they are a very lightweight wood. I excepted a heavier chair, but we love them for our game table!
