This is a really cool looking bar stool. Unfortunately, it isnt that easy to sit down on it because of the way it is made. Once you get on it, it is a little uncomfortable if you are wearing a skirt or shorts.

Boxes were much lighter than I imaged a bar stool to be. I opened the first box up and the seat was cracked in half, the base was completely broken off from the seat and the backrest was broken and laying at the bottom of the box. I opened the second box and found similar but worse damage to that stool. The damage obviously happened during shipping but these stools are extremely lightweight and are not packed well at all. I can only image that even if they arrived undamaged they would not hold up to wear and tear very well as they seem to be made of cheap materials. EDIT: lowering my rating to 1 star. I have now received 6 stools over 3 separate orders and every single stool has been broken. I’m giving up at this point and requesting a refund. You can’t expect to sell furniture online if you aren’t willing to invest in proper ways of packaging your merchandise. EDIT #2: I stupidly tried one more time because the Wayfair rep told me they would send a request to the manufacturer to pack their stools better. The stools showed up in the same limited packaging and were of course both broken. Since I can't lower the rating any lower than 1, I will keep it where it is but wanted to mention that I have now received a total of 8 broken stools. If I haven't mentioned already or if it is not obvious, I highly discourage you from buying these stools. Side note, Wayfair has made the return process all 8 times a frustrating experience. Each time I am told I have to drive these 4' x 2' boxes to FedEx for return and not one time during any of my 8 returns did a Wayfair employee offer any sort of coupon or any type of compensation. Wayfair used to be one of the better companies as far as customer service goes but clearly times have changed.

This is a stunning, simple and comfortable bar stool! I love the look and quality of them. I had ordered one of these barstools and was surprised by the condition it arrived in. It was such a beautiful bar stool though, that I ordered another. The second chair showed up in perfect condition straight out of the box.
