The combo of light oak & rattan blends nicely with the other light oaks in the bedroom. My focus is coastal-mid century blend and this headboard is perfect. I was concerned about how to attach it to the wall with an adjustable platform ) not a traditional frame) but Velcro with adhesive backing did the trick. Love this choice!

Handsome headboard, delivered fast, easily put together. Very happy customer.

This headboard came well packaged and undamaged. It is very solid once put together. As noted by others, there are no holes on the bottom of the legs to attach to the bed. Instead, we placed the headboard against the wall and moved the bed so that the board is tight between the two. I had some 1 x 1 square felt furniture felt pads that I put across the top of the board so that it wouldn't damage the wall. It's very beautiful and we love it!!

Perfect for our coastal themed bedroom.
