BEWARE — I would not recommend ordering this item if you care about receiving the color you actually selected.
I ordered the Dutton Buffet in Mid Tone Oak. What I received was WARM OAK, and the packaging clearly says “Warm Oak.” This is not a small variation in shade or a difference caused by lighting — it is a completely different color and finish from the Mid Tone Oak I ordered.
The most frustrating part was dealing with customer service. I provided photos of the product and the label on the box showing that I received Warm Oak, yet customer service refused to acknowledge that I was sent a different color and insisted that what I received was the correct color.
Even worse, I was essentially told to order another Oak tone from the website. But if the company does not actually have Mid Tone Oak available, why is it being advertised and sold as an available option?
This is not about a customer simply changing their mind about a color. I ordered one product and received another. The box itself confirms it.
I am extremely disappointed with both the product and the customer service. A company should not advertise a specific finish, send a different finish, and then refuse to take responsibility for the discrepancy.
