These are beautifully made, solid chairs with soft, top-grain leather. I purchased them in the Brushed Ebony leather which is perfect for what I was looking for. However, I agree with another reviewer that the legs are a little too long for people of average height. Whether it's the height of the seat cushion or the length of the legs, the overall seating position is a bit higher than our other dining chairs, making it difficult to have my feet solidly on the ground if I'm leaning all the way back. That said, I really love these chairs and don't plan to shorten the legs to make them more comfortable.

It’s a solidly made chair and the leather is soft and top grain. Either the seat cushion is too high or the legs are too long so that the overall seating position is higher than our other dining chairs making them uncomfortable. My wife’s feet do not reach the floor and mine barely touch. We’re both average height. I love the chairs and plan to cut an appropriate amount of wood from the legs and solve the problem. However, if you’re not handy enough to do that or you’re a shorter person, be forewarned.
