Has a cheaper look. Not High Quality per a solid wood description

This is a very well made, sturdy/heavy piece. The only problem was the color and a couple cracks on the top. Unfortunately, the pictures did not reflect reality: It’s very taupe not brown.

Decent product, not great. Received the first table with a big divot on the edge of the table top and also the shelf in the same place. Its like ot was hit with a router during manufacture of both pieces.. Birch Lane service was excellent, sent a couple photos to the agent and the replacement was sent promptly. Overall, again, quality not great. The drawers and the slots are inconsistent. With the replacement table top and now 8 drawers to compare, only ONE drawer fit in one of the slots... I was able to get 4 drawers to work, but that one only because i had two complete sets to try. Overall decent table, very inconsistent manufacture, and pretty much no quality control. Take your chances.
