Beautiful piece that is the high quality I expected from Hekman . The color is a bit darker brown than the honey color I expected, but it blends well with the other woods in my room so not an issue.

Unfortunately the entire drawer on the left was smashed in although the packaging was not harmed. I assume it happened in the factory. Because I received it while I was abroad and the new rule of a very limited guarantee time was applied, Birchlane did nothing to compensate me, neither did they send me a replacement. I learnt that I should have bought an insurance, which never happened before for a damaged piece of furniture. I am very disappointed.

This table is terrible quality for the expensive price tag. It’s not well-made, and after having to put it together.!!, one of the drawers no longer opens. And to open the other drawer, you have to hold onto the table so it doesn’t knock the lamp off. Very, very unhappy.!!
