Double vitrine

Very nice. Expensive, but worth it

I love the cabinet. It is the exact size And style I have been looking for these last four years. However there are some issues. 1) the piece was filthy. I had to wash it down with soap and water to get all the dust and grime off of it. Many places I had to use a razor blade scaper and steel wool on the glass to get the caked on dirt off. 2) the right side frame that holds the glass in place was not properly installed. The glass was flopping around and I’m surprised it did not break. I had to remove the frame, remove the bent nails and re-nail the frame in place. 3) two of the front doors have a warped frame holding the glass in place. I had to glue and clamp to rectify. 4) although this is a rustic finish, I would expect that I could run my hand over the surface without getting slivers. As I was washing and rinsing, the sponge and cloth pulled up many slivers across the wood. 5) even though I ordered the white glove service the movers did not take any of the packaging materials away. All of these issues are easily fixed, however, I have never had to do so much work when receiving a new piece of furniture.

great quality product outstanding delivery process

I read the reviews about this being dirty upon arrival but couldn't understand how that could be. It's true it was a bit dirty but I also think it's meant to be whitewashed. With all that being said, I love this piece. It's perfect for my space, the only thing missing is a light inside but I would buy it again knowing it doesn't have a light. Love it.
