Just as it looks. The top was a tiny bit dented in, but not enough to return it. My cat loves sitting on it, which was the plan! :)

Well made and more expensive than they look. Great for sitting or resting your legs. I was considering much more expensive ottomans from a well-known furniture store that were much more expensive. So glad I found these -- very similar for a much better value!
