Banc en bois Acuff

It’s very beautiful and lots of storage which I needed.

The finish is rough in areas. Doesn't seem to have a protective finish. The lid doesn't close on one side and there is a gap where the lid is hinged. Some nicks and a few dents I've noticed. The inside of the storage area has a weird smell and it was dirty. Smells like it was sitting in the warehouse for a while. A dead bug fell out of the bottom somewhere. Don't know what kind of bug it was, but it looked similar to either a small bee or flying ant. I checked to see if anymore fell out, but none since. I'm disappointed because of how much this bench cost. I will say Wayfair was very cooperative and resolving the problem and is sending another. Thank you Wayfair! I have already sent photos for the previous bench and have not received the other as yet.

Love! The wood color is a bit deeper and richer than in the photos. It looks like a perfectly restored vintage piece, very solid construction, a lot of space for storage. I could not be happier!
