Chariot-bar Akita

This was the final piece we added to our new lounge. It's the highlight of the room~!

I love half of this cart. The design and dimensions are lovely and the marble shelves are high quality. The gold finish is very inconsistent with bubbles and flaws all over. Mine arrived with 2 areas with deep scratches as well (probably during shipping.) The finish on the feet make the piece look cheap. The bases arrived with lots of black smudging but I was able to remove much of it with a "magic eraser" - I was hoping the many flaws in the finish could be scrubbed away but unfortunately not. I've requested (2) replacement bases in hopes the finish issues will be resolved. I will return this cart if the replacements don't resolve the issue. I want to love it so much!

Probably not worth the money. The frame build quality is relatively cheap with weld connections that are sloppy at best. Got two different shipments because the first was damaged, and so was the replacement, which Perigold shipped to me for free. Between both sets I was able to barely piece together something that stands because multiple bolts in the marble square frames were bent. Some nuts wouldn’t screw on. The packaging, weld quality, and parts should be improved greatly if you’re going to pay these prices. Debating whether to return.
