Okay the bean chair took way longer to arrive. I got the orange one and it looks beautiful on our patio. But it’s so stiff to sit on. You would think for the price it would be more comfortable.

These chairs are a bit over-stuffed and need some manipulation to create a sitting spot, but more importantly, the stitching at the seams pulled apart after a few uses. So barely used and I am now in the process of having someone else make covers that will be sewn for better durability. Not worth the price. Also, they have to be re-shaped after use in order to look nice, without shaping they tend to be lumpy, crooked, and sloppy looking.

So, it arrived quickly. The quality is good. But there were and are some issues. The canvas cover and the bag of "beans" are separate in the box. The "chair" is filled to the brim with beads of styrofoam and if you are over 125lbs, there about, you're going to need to remove a portion of those beads in order to have a comfy seat. Easy? well, if you need to remove some of those beads, there is a sneaky zipper you must deal with! Maybe someone else might be smart enough to figure it out, but I wasn't! I didn't see any instructions and if they were in the box, I missed them. After the manufacturer contacted me with the instructions, it was a "go"! You need to use a paperclip and snake it through the stub of the "top" zipper and pull it; it will then reveal another regular zipper beneath! So, after taking my little shop vac, I removed about a half of 32-gallon trash bag of beads and zipped the chair back up. Sat down on it and it is comfy, but my other problem is that if you are a senior, you may have a hard time getting up out of it!

Very comfy was quite overstuffed so we needed to remove some of the filler to sit on it. Looks beautiful!
