Very easy to ensemble and great quality

4.5 stars - I was looking for something a little different, with a charcoal headboard, and a wood frame. I don't love the wood tone, which is a medium acorn brown, but the photos are pretty accurate. The quality was a little better than I expected overall, especially for the price, like the slats, the legs, the fabric. The zipper back is great for storing tools as I think someone else noted. It took me about 90 min to put together, nothing tricky, it was just heavy for me to do alone. Packaging and delivery were great. I'm sensitive to odors, and this had none. The grey is a nice med-dark charcoal - my detail photo is a little lighter than actual, and the larger photo makes it look too dark, it's inbetween. The stitching is whiter than the buttons which are slightly ecru. Also, the buttons are not perfectly covered, but I plan to redo them later, and I can't usually see them anyway. The king mattress easily fits into the frame and there is a 1+" gap in places mostly the corners, which is good if you like tucking in the bedding, which I don't. The headboard is made pretty well and has adequate cushion, but it very vertical, no slant for added comfort. Please note in the photos, my mattress is tall at 14", so I don't see the headboard details well with the pillows in place, also no duvet cover yet. Edit: 10/24 This bed frame is doing great, no problems, feels very solid, and the fabric headboard still looks surprisingly great!

Super easy to put together solo and very well made. This is a solid bed! Looks great - colors exactly what I was expecting and the headboard padding is substantial. I bought this for my six year old son - neutral enough to take him through many years without worrying about it falling apart or being outdated. We are both very happy.
