These are darling and we purchased them for a reading nook for the kids. Two suggestions - First, I'm not sure we assembled them correctly. They are very dense and so firm that they are not comfortable at all. In fact, my daughter can't sit on it without falling off. Hopefully the manufacturer has a suggestion on how to remove some of the pellets to make them more cozy like a bean bag. Second, the smell. We've had them out of the box for two weeks and they are still off gassing. We've simply opened the window, but it is pretty bad. Plan ahead for time for them to breathe. At this point, I wouldn't recommend them to a friend. Would be super cute if for a photo shoot but less great for regular use.
