Not as tall as I would have liked. The gold on the base was slightly scratched; however, it didn't show enough to return it. This was an extremely heavy item. I don't care for the "material" used on the top of table; it looks inexpensive especially compared to the rest of the table. It was expensive for what I received. It was packaged/crated extremely well to protect item during shipping and must have cost Wayfair a great deal to safeguard this table. Even so, it was slightly damaged. I wish the money could have been put into the table top product.
