Poor quality

I, too, LOVE the design of this table. But I have the exact problem with it that Bonnie said in her review: "The veneer scratches extremely easily and the white manufacture wood pops its bright whiteness to draw attention to it." Also he bubbling issue of the veneer. What I love about this table is how versatile it is and how many people it sits with the extension, which is so easy to use. I really wish the company that makes this would come out with a "fix" for the bubbling and shipped veneer.

I really LOVE the design of this table. It is exactly what I was looking for in shape, features and color. It loses stars however due to the extremely thin veneer used over manufactured wood that is left white. The veneer scratches extremely easily and the white manufacture wood pops its bright whiteness to draw attention to it. Furthermore, at the bottom of the oval pedestal, the veneer isn’t secured to the wood and it looks like a bubble that you can actually depress…..hopefully it won’t break through. To remedy the easily scratchable table surface, I painted it with polyurethane to provide additional protection and scratch resistance. Not a problem for me, but I shouldn’t have had to do that with a new table at this price. More than a bit disappointing.

Really love the table. Easy to open and close and has a nice grain finish to it. Beautiful color gray.
