For the price, this stool is great! I gave it a 4 star instead of 5 because for some reason, there are flecks of light brown/tan (almost like splashed paint) very faint on the chair backs. I realize I ordered white stools, so they will get dirty, but I was surprised to see the little faint specs already on the chair back when I opened the package. Not sure what it is, but it probably is just a fluke and something was splashed or sprayed on them during manufacturing. They have a very sturdy and heavy base. I love that these are stainless steel. They look fabulous. I will admit, they look better than they feel when I sit in them. I did buy them for looks, not comfort tho :) The lifting and lowering mechanism on this stool is very nice! Feels like it was built well. This stool is perfect for a petite person :) I'm excited to get them in my space.

I really like the look and adjustability. They are closer to an off white. The base will dent somewhat easily. All in all they work well in my home and space.
