So, I had a bad experience with this piece from the very beginning. Fed ex wouldn’t deliver it to my home after multiple phone calls, even one from Wayfair. They were insisting my address was wrong despite delivering other packages all week long. But that’s Fed Ex and not this piece. Orlando from Wayfair was amazing. Ordered me a new one, cancelled the undeliverable one and yippee, it was finally here! Except it was broken!!!!!!!!!!! Once we got it put together, which takes a lot of time, we realized the ledge below the shelf was completely busted and wouldn’t stay connected. Also there was a big chunk missing from the front. I can fix these things with gorilla glue and some blue paint, but for over 500 I shouldn’t have to! And for the massive headache we went thru to get this piece, having it finally arrive damaged was the gut kick I didn’t need. Besides all of this, it is a cool looking bookcase and is exactly what I wanted for our home’s reading nook. Like other reviews mentioned, the color is super dark blue, not as light as the picture depicts. I think there are other pieces worth your money, more so than this one. But if you want a dark blue book case and can’t find anything else, then maybe take the chance and hope Fed ex isn’t the carrier and that it arrives undamaged!!

Nice sturdy bookcase big heavy box to carry in the house! Fairly straightforward to put together. Mine had some damage to the wood but it was inside the drawer and not visible. Shelves are not adjustable but are nicely spaced. Color is very versatile.

Great color, true navy. Like the brassy gold pulls on front. Drawer is good size for all kinds of things. You can still see and feel the grain of the real wood. Shelves are nice and wide. Ours was busted when it came but we chose to fix it ourselves. 4 stars because the bottom shelf is a weird height, almost useless.
