Disclosure: We are currently working with wayfair to replace the top. The build quality and look of the bottom is great. The top is NOT butcher block. It is flooring on top of plywood. Our top arrived with several noticeable wood filler spots and a crack to the border wood. The main reason we requested a replacement is the top is crowned, so a cutting board does not sit flat. Now that we have had the top for two to three months, we are noticing that many of the seams are beginning to expand. Current status: Wayfair is not able to ship us just the top as originally promised. Our only option is to receive an entirely new unit and keep the old one on hand in case they want it returned.

This is the fourth one that was delivered and all of them were damaged I'm keeping this one because it was not as bad as the others but my wife and i are very disappointed.
