Absolutely BEAUTIFUL solid wood sideboard buffet! This elegant, mid century modern style storage cabinet is perfect for the dining room or living room. The carved exterior of the doors is unique and unusual. The doors are 3 dimensional with permanent storage shelving on the inside of both doors. It has adjustable shelves interiorly. Please note that because the doors are very heavy, the hinge is significant and is clearly visible on the sides of the furniture. It was initially simple to put together with easy to follow directions and well marked parts and hardware. I gave 4 stars because the final step, attaching the doors, was extremely challenging. The doors, being solid wood are extremely heavy. The directions do not take this into consideration. So……to avoid scratching your new furniture, this is what we did. Lay the furniture on its back, and support the door at the appropriate height next to the body of the furniture with a small step stool and styrofoam from the packing material. With a second person assisting, have them hold the door at the appropriate angle in order to attach. Repeat with the other side. We did not notice the visible hinges before we bought this cabinet so that was a bit disappointing. But despite the hinges and the challenging process to attach the doors, I would definitely purchase this unique and beautiful cabinet again.

The sideboard was perfect for the small area on my dining room. The furniture is solid wood so it sturdy and looks great.
