Housse pour repose-pieds

I love my heavy leather ottoman. It's the second one I've bought, after many years of enjoying the first one. It's just great to put your feet up on and not have to worry about messing up a fabric, and a nice smooth texture for bare feet and relaxing. Tip for stuffing: put a big block of upholstery grade foam inside a big plastic bag. Put the hose of your vacuum cleaner inside and suck as much air out of the plastic bag that you can. Watch the foam shrink as much as you can get, then twist the open end of the bag closed QUICKLY. Open the zipper on the bottom of the ottoman cover and quickly position the foam block inside, flat on the bottom, with the open end of the bag facing the zipper. Untwist the bag and allow the foam block to expand back and make sure it's positioned square to the ottoman cover. You will probably want to stuff some quilt stuffing in the corners to make it nice and well stuffed, then zip the zipper closed. Voila, a perfectly tightly stuffed and comfy place for your feet.
