Beautiful, solid writing desk, especially liked the large size. First one arrived so damaged that they sent a replacement desk out. The second desk also arrived damaged but we were able to salvage parts from the first one and end up with a complete, nearly undamaged desk in the end. My opinion is that the desk is to heavy and large to be shipped like any other box. Needs to be delivered through a delivery service like.

Beautiful desk but was damaged on both corners, most likely from shipping and being so heavy. You definitely need two people to bring this piece in. I opted to change my living room into my office just so I wouldn't have to try to get it up my steps!
