We purchased these chairs to match two other dining room chairs. I would not describe them of having any cherry finish in them. The wood is brown. The upholstery matches our existing head of the table chairs so they will work. Definitely easy to put together. We used our own tool to tighten the screws. The packaging was surprisingly done well. We were pleased with the quality. I would recommend purchasing the product but don’t expect “cherry finish.”
