The back of this chair was hard to put on the base. We bought it for my husband who is 6’5” and it wasn’t big enough for him. I was able to use it. The chair moves real slow to recline and come back up. I often jump out of it with it still in the recline position. The chair isn’t real comfortable in the upright position (it leans a little forward).

Update! Since purchase, the chairs stuffed arms have separated, you can feel the wood in the arm of the chair. Also, it is not an oversized chair, too small to categorize as such

Last recliner I bought was delivered by Wayfair and was assembled and carried upstairs by them.This time it was delivered by fedx and no one but the driver was there with assistance to carry it upstairs but the driver of the fedx truck but he was kind enough to help me. I assembled it by myself.The only thing is we damaged my wall bringing it upstairs.

Nice chair, comfortable. It’s not as big as it sounds… not a “big man’s chair”. I’m 5’5” and if I were much taller my feet would hang over. That being said I find it co sortable and convenient. It definitely helps me to stand up with ease and less pain!
