Whereas the rocker looks better than the photo, the delivery was hard because the chair came in a huge crate. The crate would not could not fit through our front door, even though it’s extra wide, so I took the crate apart on the porch; lots of staples and screws. The chair is extremely heavy. So it took a very strong son-in-law and two additional people to get the chair down the basement stairs. I had previously looked up the weight on this item and could not find it anywhere. So if you have access to strong people to move the chair and a way to take the crate apart and dispose of the crate parts later, I recommend this chair! It really is beautiful.
