This bench is a solid piece of furniture. It is much darker than the photo on the website but its still nice. Four stars due to a few "distressed marks" in the wood. Fortunatly, since I've ordered a custom cushion they won't show. My husband and I assembled together (ages 78 & 75). Had to change a couple dowl plugs to get the parts to fit. All in all, it's a sturdy bench.

It is a beautiful bench. I gave four stars because there were a few cracks in the wood.

Solid construction, well made, and the perfect size for the area I planned to use it. My son who build things from wood did the assembly . He gave it thumbs up too.
