Nicely designed and functioning book cabinet. As mentioned in another review, the door swings in an opposite direction than what is pictured. Shelves are removable but in two fixed positions. I needed a taller shelf, so I just removed and stacked the bottom shelf on the top. The color match and surfacs size is perfect for a Bombay rotating and folding book holder.

Good quality cabinet and extraordinary measures taken to wrap and protect cabinet during shipment. I gave 4 stars instead of 5 because the cabinet has a split in the wood. The split is inside and can't be seen externally, so I opted not to return it. The cabinet was wrapped and padded so well that I feel the cabinet must have contained the split prior to shipping.

The cabinet arrived damaged at the top, however, with Wayfair exceptional customer service, we got a replacement in no time. Based on these damages, I can tell it’s not made of solid wood, unfortunately. We needed a slim cabinet for a weirdish nook in our dining room, and this one fit perfectly. Be aware that the cabinet door is right-handed, not left-handed as it appears on the picture. Overall, it’s a nice looking cabinet of a relatively good quality.
