This is a lovely, simple style bookcase. I have no books in it! It is used to show off little statues of elephants, gnomes, etc. I like it a lot.

these have worked out great. Good spot for small stuff like pencil holders, small paper. very happy w the wood finish goes well w our gray office cabinets. Easy to put together. Sturdy! Very Happy w the purchase- Nice smooth finish!

Very disappointed. Looks and feels cheap. I knew it was MDF of course, but has only the very thinnest paper veneer. Wooden dowel holes are drilled too deep, so that not enough dowel is caught by both adjoining pieces. Screw holes are far longer than what is needed, and the drilled holes are off. My first screw became aslant (why arent the holes guiding) and went through the side. Second screw was headed the same way. Its going into the garbage. Definitely not worth the money, and unless you are a carpenter essentially using these boards to make it from scratch, forget it.

Love this shelf unit. It looks so good on my wall.
