The color on the website said it was black (even though the photo looked brown). The second color option said brown so figured the black photo might just be off but nope! The item was delivered today and I opened the box to the see the color description was espresso. Why didn't the description just say "Espresso"? While I like the color espresso, I specifically wanted a black shelf for my decor.

Super easy to put together. The low cost made it cost effective for my classroom. The espresso is a dark brown, not black color. So if you need black, this might not work for your needs.
