Perfect sideboard for my family room. Color is perfect as it has no red in bc it. Very well constructed. Definitely recommend

The only thing good about this furniture is the quality of the manufactured wood. Everything about this piece of furniture feels cheap and poorly designed. Before I even started assembly, I found a broken piece of wood that looked water damaged. It had been packed and shipped anyway, so I had to wait over a week just to get a replacement part. Once I actually started putting it together, the problems kept stacking up. The shelves had clearly been rounded off to hide chipped corners. The backboard was misdrilled and patched with wood filler, then finished over like no one would notice. The hardware is terrible. Most of it is cheap plastic, and the metal parts are so soft that the bolts strip almost immediately. About half of mine did. Several plastic pieces snapped during assembly. The dowels were also too short, so I had to use my own just to get it together. It’s honestly a miracle I got it assembled at all. There was also a giant warning label glued to one of the drawers with what felt like permanent adhesive. I spent about an hour heating it and scraping it off with a blade. Then came the doors. The hinge holes were drilled in the wrong place, off by about two inches, so I had to drill new ones myself. Even then, nothing lines up properly. One door sits higher than the other, and the magnetic clasp doesn’t align. I had to remount it, leaving extra holes behind, and the magnets are so weak the door still won’t stay shut. At this point, I’ll have to go out and buy replacement hardware just to make it functional. For context, one review said this takes two hours to assemble. It took me 11. I started the night before and finished the next day around 8 p.m. And even after all that, the piece is still uneven and feels unstable. I knew I was buying manufactured wood, but at this price I expected something that was at least properly built and designed. This feels like a defective product that never should have left the factory. Don’t trust the reviews on this. They feel completely paid for. Take it from someone who actually built it: this is not worth your time or money.

Very nice looks like the picture, good quality wood. The assembly was ~ 3 hours with 2 people. One of the cabinet doors doesn't completely align with the magnet to hold the door closed. The top drawer we received was the same as the other drawers, not as pictured.

However, the build process was a pain as the pieces did not fit perfectly. Some pieces were bigger than the space they were supposed to be in, so it gave me lots of headache. Some holes were in a position that my drill gun could not fit, and I had to manually twist the drills in, which cost lots of time. Besides that, the sideboard looks great. It has a unique curve to it, feel sturdy and high quality. It is not the most high-end real-wood sideboard, but it is much better than any cheap, mainstream sideboard out there for sure. The color is lovely and timeless as well
