Update 82824 one of the chairs broke after 2 weeks of use and is now unusable. I leaned back, not very hard, and the back of the chair snapped where the screws connect it. So my initial assessment of the chair being sturdy is clearly not accurate. Changed from 5 stars to 2. Love these dining chairs! They are sturdy and made from solid wood! They were a cinch to put together. The only negative is that they are on the smaller size, so tall folks might not be as comfortable as children and those of us less vertically gifted.

So happy with purchase. My new chairs are just wonderful, the wood is beautiful. Sturdy and well made. Got to green and it’s a great color, matches my kitchen and dining room. I am sure that they will last a long time and get good use
