Wood looks great, was worried it would look fake. Really enjoying this in the house. Would buy again.

Looks great once fully assembled. Took a few hours to build. There was a small chip on one of the drawers.

So, this is a bit of a mixed review. The end product is a super stable, great looking piece with a lot of storage. The drawer glides are really smooth and it's solid and heavy. There were two challenges. First, the assembly was a Herculean task. We've assembled a fair amount of furniture in our time and even with two of us, it took just over three hours to put together. The directions were clear, there's just a whole lot of pieces and screws. Second, it's clearly MDF, not wood, (and not the kind of MDF that has a little texture that might make you think for a moment that it was wood). On the upside, I suppose I never have to worry if someone doesn't use a coaster. :) I'd just say know what you're getting and if you're up for the assembly, it's a good buy.

There’s a stage of the assembly process that isn’t possible without stripping the screws that have been provided. In trying to get the screws in, I’ve stabbed a hole in my hand and can’t finish assembling this piece. The assembly process needs to be re-worked
