Buffet Hilliard

Problem with delivery. I paid for "Inside Home Entrance Drop-Off " but didn't get it. I actually saw the delivery truck drive up to my neighbor's house and take my package to her front door (that's what I wanted - at MY FRONT door). I went to text her, thinking she was accidentally getting my delivery and checking with her. When I got back to my window, they had driven off. They never knocked or texted me but I later found my piece at the side of my house. It was hard to get it around my house and in my front door. I know we are in the time of Covid19 BUT they texted me to say they were coming to deliver it so they could have asked which door to leave it at and at least dropped off at my FRONT door, even if they couldn't come in, since I did pay a little extra for " Inside Home Entrance Drop-Off." Once I got the piece inside and unpacked, it was a little bit damaged. It's a beautiful piece and I knew I had bought the last one currently in stock so I opted to keep it, damaged (sigh). I wish Wayfair would reimburse something for botched delivery AND damage. It was packaged well BUT one of the corners was crushed in a bit. It's the far corner up against the corner of my walls or I would have returned it. It's also damaged inside each cabinet (one of the corners is crushed behind each door). That damage isn't at all visible so I can live with it. It's also damaged in the open compartment but you have to stick your head down to that level to see it. So, again, not really visible to someone just walking by. The only visible damage to someone standing at the sideboard is the crushed corner. I do worry about how structurally sound the piece is with all the damage inside though. Oh well. Other than the damage, it's a pretty piece. It's very heavy. Drawers pull out smoothly and are felt lined. I've changed the knobs in my photos (knobs that come with it are silver). I would like to mention that the piece is way darker than pictured. I like the color but other customers need to know to expect much darker than you think. My piece sits at a window where light is coming in but wood almost looks black, from across the room.

Love brings the room together and I can hang my large mirror over it.

We really like it. The color was perfect and matches our dining table. Lots of storage and looks really nice in our dining room
